The following figure released by the Daily Mail, showing the atrocities committed by the Shiite followers in Mumbai India, Iraq, Myanmar, and Afghanistan in order to celebrate Ashura or 10 Muharram.
Celebration, with torture themselves, is a form of grief over the murder of Husayn ibn Ali radi 'anhu. Shia pierced themselves as partly responsible for the murder of the Prophet's grandson. This self-torture, considered as a form of repentance, for their mistakes.
Clearly, this cruelty is not Islam!
